Frequently
Asked
Questions

  • Of course every child is different but your child’s individualized sleep plan is 2-3 weeks long (depending on age) and usually we see great progress within the first week!

  • If your baby gets sick when we are scheduled to start with our sleep plan then I suggest we wait until your baby is feeling better. If/when your baby gets sick, I tell parents to forgo our sleep plan and tend to your babies needs. They might need a couple night refresher when they are feeling better but trust me they bounce back to sleeping through the night again quickly!

  • According to the American Association of Paediatrics, a soother is a great calming tool and is suggested in the crib for the first 12 months. However, my professional recommendation is that soothers not be used for sleep but can be used during waking hours to help soothe your baby.

  • YES! Most people believe the misconception that breastfeeding and sleep training have to be mutually exclusive but this is not the case. We can work together to keep you breastfeeding and also having your little one sleeping through the night! You don’t have to choose one or the other.
